A marvel fan has collated images of celebrities before and after they got to play their superhero roles in Marvel movies. The differences in their bodies are impressive. Even though the path to getting a unique and appealing body is not easy, the pay that comes at the end is really worth the time and effort.
Many of us have seen ourselves as a star who could be the lead actor of a movie. However, it’s a career that takes a great deal of skill and a hell of a lot of dedication.
Do you think you would be able to bring such a vast difference to your body?
Today we Anomalous have brought you a collection of actors who went under a massive transformation to achieve perfect looks to play their roles.
1. Kumail Nanjiani’s transformation for Kingo in The Eternals
2. Robert Downey Jr. when he played The Iron Man
Robert Downey Jr. practices the Wing Chun skill in his everyday schedule and consumes about 5000 calories per day while working out with his trailer. His routine includes band squats, hamstring curls, leg presses, and more. We can see his dedication has got him an impressive body to play the role.
3. Mark Ruffalo in the role of Hulk
Even though the studio’s visual effects artists entirely handled the Hulk’s part, he was required to spend 90% of his time in a goofy-looking mocap costume with white spots painted all over his face. So he didn’t need to be in good shape, however, the audience adores him very much.
4. Chris Evans for the role of Captain America
Evans has trained for three months, four to five days a week, for two hours a day, forcing on two muscle groups per session. While he was working on the Civil war, Waterson Evan’s personal trainer assisted him in reducing his body fat to 8%.
5. Chris Hemsworth’s Transformation for Thor
Zocco, Chris Hemsworth’s trainer and childhood friend has helped him to bulk up for Thorin in just a few months. He also loves kickbox, so it was incorporated into his training with moves like bear crawls and dynamic crunches.
6. Late Chadwick Boseman for the role of Black Panther
Chadwick has practiced martial arts training before. He has worked out about four hours and followed a muscle-building two-day training schedule that focused on his chest, arms, shoulders, and triceps. Chadwick put in all his hard work while he was battling cancer.
7. Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye transformation
Renner has trained with Olympic archers to improve his skills. Jeremy also has a short routine that he uses to heat up before the director calls to action. He extends his arms and stretches before the shoot, making the blood flow throughout his body.
8. Chris Pratt for the role in Guardians of the Galaxy
Pratt was well trained by Duffy Gaver. Pratt was following a very well eating plan and a rigorous training program devised by personal trainer Duffy Gaver. He has been training for five months with about six sessions per week.
9. Paul Rudd as Ant-man
Paul Rudd has undergone a 3 part circuit exercise to focus on his chest, biceps, and abs. His workout included 5 rounds with 14 reps of Smith Machine Incline Press, Ez Bar Curl, and Hanging Knee Raises of 25 reps. Apart from his workouts he also followed a stringent diet plan.
These actors have trained day and night to achieve the desired look or body type to act their roles in the movie. Even though we have seen the outcome on screen, now we know the hard work required to achieve a result like that.
